And you know it’s not enough,

But still you take a shot

And hope you’re not too gruff.

But you know it right away,

Your words so very trite,

But still you’re bound to say

And your lip you will not bite.

When words are all you’ve got

And you know they’ll never do,

But still you take that shot

And express your point of view.

Yes, your words are all you’ve got

And you wrap yourself around,

But how often have you thought

A better way should be found?
